The
Master-Touch thermal mass flow meter has an explosion-proof,
double-sided NEMA 4 enclosure which gives you convenient
access to all power supply input and sensor signal output
connections. Your installation requirements can be easily
accommodated by your choice of in-line or insertion models
with 115VAC, 230VAC, or 24VDC configurations, and with
either integral or remote displays (as shown throughout
this page). The Master-Touch? thermal mass flow meter

Every
Master-Touch thermal mass flowmeter supports up to Four
Separate Meter Ranges that can include independent calibration
data for different gases, flow ranges, pressures, etc.
The meter ranges can be selected ¡§on the fly¡¨ through
the keypad, a PC, your DCS, or by external switching.
The Master-Touch thermal
mass flow meter provides Continuous Curve Fitting as
the microprocessor uses a polynomial curve fit to linearize
data into a continuous linear output with 12-bit precision
(4096 increments). The flowmeter variables may be viewed
or modified, yet data continues to be processed without
interruption. |

Eldridge
Products, Inc. (EPI) Series 8600, 8700, and 8800 thermal
mass flow meters are rugged flowmeters designed for
use in hazardous locations. This series of thermal mass
flow meters features the integral mounting of the signal
processor and optional rate display within the NEMA4
enclosure. The thermal mass flowmeter enclosure is explosion-proof
and water tight, and meets the requirements for Class
1; Division 1; Groups B, C, & D; and NEMA4 approvals.
The power requirement is either 24VDC or 115 VAC (230
optional) 50/60 Hz to the flowmeter assembly. |

Linear
signal outputs of both 0¡V5 VDC and 4¡V20 mA are provided
for the user interface. These output signals are isolated
from the input power and ground connections. The 4¡V20
mA signal will drive a resistive load of 0 to 600 Ohms
(1200 Ohms optional).
The Series 8600 and 8700
thermal mass flowmeters are in-line flow meters which
include a flowbody for mounting the flowmeter as part
of the process pipe. The Series 8800 thermal mass flowmeters
are insertion flow meters which are designed for use
in large pipes and ducts
